Crafting systems as the foundation of strong design.


Communication design in the year of 2023 comes in many forms, and this Mariana embraces wholeheartedly. From motion design to installations and exhibitions, everything is stronger when built on a system. She enjoys extending her typography, research, and system-thinking skills to a variety of different projects (and mediums), eagerly adding new tools to her belt whether digital, physical, or at the intersection of both.

She has a BFA with Honors in Communication Design from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan. Mariana has previously interned at Lafayette American and the Henry Ford, and is currently freelancing for Shinola. Her inbox is always open for new opportunities, pet pics, and future friends :-)
