exploring the intersection of digital and physical design.
Mariana is a Cuban/Bulgarian interdisciplinary designer based in Detroit. She is primarily interested in publication, motion, and experiential design. She enjoys extending her typography, research, and system-thinking skills to a variety of different projects (and mediums), eagerly adding new tools to her belt whether digital, physical, or at the intersection of both. In her personal practice, she is exploring themes of identity, belonging, and our relationships to the spaces we inhabit.
Currently, she is Cita Press’s Communications & Design Coordinator and the studio manager at Small Works Detroit. Her inbox is open for select new projects, pet pics, and future friends :-)
